The PP extrusion process involves dosing suitable raw materials and extruding yarn in the desired denier and thickness. This stage includes the following steps:

  • Raw Material Preparation: The raw material is mixed with necessary additives to achieve a homogeneous mixture.
  • Extrusion: The prepared mixture is heated and melted in an extruder. The molten polypropylene is passed through a die to form yarns of the desired denier and thickness.
  • Cooling and Drawing: The extruded yarn is cooled in a water bath and then drawn to increase its strength.
  • Winding: The produced yarns are wound onto bobbins, making them ready for the next stage.
